Heritage Friend Event with the Pickering Foundation

Join us at the Pickering House — the oldest house in Salem and America’s oldest home, hosted by the Pickering Foundation. Built in 1660 by English settlers John and Elizabeth Pickering, this historic house has changed drastically over the last 350 years, including the addition of gables and gothic peaks.

Come and enjoy this beautiful space which will be decorated for the holidays! Guides will be available to answer questions about the fascinating artifacts and portraits on display, including Revolutionary War documents.

This event is open to Essex Heritage members FREE of charge but registration is required. Space is limited. Non-member registration is $5.00 per person. Light refreshments will be provided.
