History Alive Kids’ Workshop

History Alive Kids’ Workshop

Attention, Kids!

Embark on a theatre creating adventure with History Alive and The House of the Seven Gables as we get ready to share “History Makers: Grandfather’s Chair!” In 1840, Nathaniel Hawthorne published a book for kids to teach them about New England history. This is his story with some feisty twists, thanks to his future daughter, Una! Play your part in a time travelling journey. This kids’ workshop culminates in a public performance at the House of the Seven Gables on July 8th!

The workshop is 4 days (7/5 – 7/8), 11 am -3pm each day with two public performances on the fourth day (7/8) at 12:30pm and 2pm. The workshop is open to kids ages 5-12. Please email kristina.stevick@historyalivesalem.com with any questions about the program itself.
