Salem Meet & Eat

Each month, Root, the Salem Public Schools, and the City of Salem hold a free monthly dinner open to any resident of Salem. Typically meals are held at the Saltonstall Elementary School, but on June 8th, we look forward to “breaking-bread” at Old Town Hall!
Enjoy a delicious fresh-prepared meal by graduates of Root’s youth culinary training program either at Old Town Hall or to go. In addition, members of the Salem Food Policy Council will be on-site to share information about food insecurity in Salem and Salem’s 2022 Food Assessment currently underway.

Other local food access organizations will also be in attendance, including The Salem Pantry and Project Bread!
