“The LGBTQ+ Pride Flag & Color Symbolism” – A GALA Exhibit

For this exhibit Galleries at LynnArts (GALA) is seeking submissions based on the symbolism of the colors included in the LGBTQ+ Pride Flag. The original LGBTQ+ Pride Flag was created by artist Gilbert Baker and made its debut on June 25th, 1978. Since its debut, the original flag has changed and been updated to represent the intersectional diversity of the LGBTQ+ community.

GALA is hosting an Opening Reception on Friday, June 2nd from 5:30 – 7:30pm. The exhibit will run from June 2 – July 12 in the Community Gallery.

Gallery Hours are on Saturdays from 11am-5pm and Thursdays from 1-4pm, by appointment and by chance.
