The North Shore YMCA Theatre Company presents “The Little Mermaid Jr.”

Join the Y Theatre Co. for our upcoming production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr! This show features upwards of seventy local youth performers over the course of two production weekends.
Journey “under the sea” with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR., adapted from Disney’s Broadway production and the motion picture. In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking.

Performances will be at 7:00pm on March 24, 25, 31, and April 1, and at 2:00pm on March 26 and April 2. All performances will be held in Ames Hall at the Salem YMCA, 290 Essex Street, Salem, MA 01970. 

About us: The Y Theatre Co. produces full-scale musicals and plays for young actors ages 6 & up in Salem, Cape Ann, and in conjunction with public schools in Manchester/Essex. Each production offers students an opportunity to join a supportive and talented theatre community where every role is given a chance to shine. Technical components including lights, sets, props, costumes, and live musicians give professional experience to new and experienced actors.
