From an early age, Daniel has been fascinated by the spaces that surround and shape us, and the way we sculpt them as well. The son of a sign painter and a seamstress, he developed a keen eye for design while drawing inspiration from the urban environment he grew up in. His interests bloomed during his time at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where he discovered a new passion as well – printmaking. Upon graduation he attended an artist residency in Argentina, where he explored solar printmaking techniques and took inspiration from new surroundings. Daniel has since lectured about his work abroad, led classes and workshops, and continues to experiment with a variety of techniques and media across multiple disciplines.

"Growth. Decay. The passage of time and history of a location. All of these might be present in a single image when you look at my work. My pictures are amalgamations rooted in the tradition of landscape painting."
