An eclectic mix of Soulful Blues and Acoustic Melodies, The Jamie Laird Project found its genesis in the summer of 2000. After years of various collaborations, a seasoned singer/songwriter emerged from the scattered ashes of several local bands with the driving force of a Berklee Alum Drummer, David Powell and the addition of Mike on Bass and a new horn section, this groupe blends rock, jazz, blues and R&B/soul, coupled with thoughtful, inspiring and real lyrics drawing a wide audience base playing music people actually listen to, relate to, and come back to hear more of. With over three hours of original songs. The Jamie Laird Project’s style is just that: original, passionate and honest.
