“Women magicians are proof that girls can achieve the impossible!”

Debbie O’Carroll is a “one of a kind” performer. She combines stage magic and physical comedy to create interactive programs for children. Her appealing props, delightful costumes, enchanting magic and lively stage movement both educate and entertain. Debbie offers a variety of programs. Choose a performance that highlights one of the following subjects: geography, history, reading, science, Ireland, performing arts, nutrition and physical fitness, ecology, December holidays (Christmas, Hanukkah, Dewali and more) or Halloween. Her children’s novel “Bridget Boylan, Girl Magician” was inspired by the real life first woman magician in the U.S.
In 2009, Debbie O’Carroll received recognition from the Massachusetts House of Representatives for being an inspirational teaching artist. Her offering for the 2016 Library Summer Reading Program is “The On Your Mark…Get Set… Read Magic Show”.
