The best images stand out, speak up, and stick in your memory. As a freelance illustrator, my work has helped commercial and private clients to express their message in print, digital and mural form. Large or small, digital or tangible, I enjoy working with clients to create custom images that make a statement.

I’m Margot, a freelance illustrator based north of Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

My illustrations have been featured in major publications including The Four Hour Chef  by Tim Ferriss, MAfamily.org, and Students for life. Large scale illustrations have been produced as murals for commercial and private clients. Recent mural projects include the Revitalization Mural sponsored by Beverly Main Streets to increase the value of a downtown property, the Tree Mural as well as three grants awarded for murals that will be created in 2013 in partnership with Art Haven, Rocky Neck Cultural Center and Express Yourself.

I graduated from Gordon College with a dual degree in Philosophy and English, studied for a year abroad in Oxford, England, and completed additional graduate study at La Complutense and Universidad de Castilla de La Mancha, Spain. I studied visual arts at SMFA, Montserrat College of Art, and Universitat de Barcelona. My art and research center on Public Art as well as explorations in economic justice, the state of the art world, and the role of arts activism in advocacy of human rights issues. I am married to Matthew Rogers, graduate of the SMFA and a professional Luthier. Together we co-own and run Wallpusher Guitars, and I serve as Membership and Marketing Director at CIVA. Prior to joining CIVA, I worked in Program Development at Harvard University and AmeriCorps, and most recently as a business consultant for small creative businesses.
