For those who knew and loved our muse, or for those who simply love the joy of music, we are thrilled to offer various ways to be involved in the magic that is The Musary.
Started as a labor of love in memory of John Ryan Pike, who was tragically killed in 2007, John’s friends and family have come together to share his love of music. The Musary, JRP Inc. collects donated instruments, repairs and refurbishes them preparing them for loan. Instruments are loaned on a first come, first serve basis. We work in conjunction with school band programs and local musicians alike. The Musary accepts requests from all age groups and all skill levels. A borrower may loan an instrument for a period of 90 days, and may renew an unlimited amount of times until another request for the instrument has been made.
The Musary currently has on loan numerous guitars, clarinets, flutes, trombones, upright and grand pianos; to name a few. Various other instruments remain in The Musary’s collection ready to be loaned. With the love and support of our community and those who knew and loved our inspiration, we are a rapidly growing 501(3)c non-profit, serving much of New England.
