Triad: Boston's Choral Collective is a democratic ensemble of professional singers, conductors, and composers, dedicated to performing new choral music. We rehearse in Somerville and currently perform mostly in the Boston metropolitan area of Massachusetts. Our repertory is selected from music that is no more than 25 years old.
We are affiliated with New York's C4 choir and its network of cooperative choirs across the United States. Our model of organization means that we make repertory selection by committee, and there is no single music director. Members of the choir conduct the group; we have several composer members who write for us, and most members sing in performance.
Our mission is to present a wide range of examples of the wonderful bounty of choral music that is being composed today.
