After 40 years of connecting art lovers with local artists, the Cape Ann Artisans Tour is expanding! We’re seeking fresh talent to join our esteemed group and help revitalize our beloved tour.

Who We Are

Cape Ann Artisans is a diverse collective of creators, including:

  • Ceramic artists
  • Jewelers
  • Glass makers
  • Mosaic artists
  • Mixed media artists
  • Painters
  • Weavers
  • Sculptors
  • Print-makers
  • Fiber artists
  • And other fine craftspeople

We’ve become an integral part of the art and tourism scene in Gloucester and Rockport, collaborating with renowned organizations like the Cape Ann Museum and Rocky Neck Art Colony.

Our Community

Cape Ann Artisans are part of a vibrant arts community along the scenic North Shore of Massachusetts. Our self-guided tour showcases artists’ studios in Gloucester and Rockport, areas that are home to three important Massachusetts-designated Cultural Districts:

  • Downtown Gloucester
  • Downtown Rockport
  • Rocky Neck

We’re proud to be well-integrated into the community as members of:

Our Fall Tour is included in American Craft Week, celebrating our commitment to fine art and craft.

What Sets Us Apart

We’re Looking for You!

If you’re a creator with a public-accessible studio in Manchester, Essex, Gloucester, or Rockport, we want to hear from you! We’re particularly interested in:

  • Sculpture
  • Fiber arts (especially clothing)
  • Printmaking
  • Lithography
  • Bookbinding
  • Instrument-making
  • Woodwork
  • Rug-making
  • Basketry
  • Glass
  • Metal crafts

However, all genres will be considered. All work must be made on Cape Ann in your studio.
