On Saturday, June 29, 2024, queer artists and allies will come together in Ipswich, Massachusetts, for a day of celebration, art, and community at the Queer Joy Festival. This annual pride event, envisioned by Angie Benitez—a queer teacher and administrator at High Street Studios—is set to provide an unforgettable experience that caters to all ages. Participate in Family Dance, Teen Contemporary, Adult Jazz for Beginners, Heels, and Yoga. The day will conclude with a soothing Community Sound Healing session led by Kristen Miller.

Outdoor Market: Explore the vibrant Queer Market from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, featuring local artisans like Brita Potenza (“With Flour in Her Hair”), tarot-reader Sarah Rose, visual artist Kayla Renée Snover, whimsical print-maker Marianne Bayard, and many more. This market is a perfect place to discover unique, locally-made treasures.

Special Drinks: Enjoy unique beverages from our neighbor, Little Wolf, available exclusively during the festival. These drinks add a refreshing touch to the celebration.
