The Alias Brass Company, founded in 2013, is described as “the only name for music innovation” by Martin Hackleman, formerly of the Empire and Canadian Brass. From Baroque and Classical to Jazz and Pop, the five-member group blends virtuosic musicianship with top-tier entertainment.

The Alias Brass Company strives to fulfill their mission of ensuring that music remains inclusive and sustainable in today’s society by embracing a variety of global styles, genders and cultures. Alias provides clinics, master classes and demonstrations to young musicians and non-musicians alike throughout the school year, nurturing innovation, creativity, technique, and expression through music.
