This area at the heart of the City was originally built as a market place and continues to this day to be an important public plaza and pedestrian way. The Public Art Commission, working with  Kate Luchini, Staff Planner for Art and Culture, have invited “Creative Entrepreneurs” to create handcrafted items including pottery, fabric arts, glass art and wood turned products in their retail/maker spaces.
